Fujitsu Announces the Certification of CentricStor for CommVault QiNetix Software

Manila, March 30, 2006 – Fujitsu Philippines, Inc. announced today that Fujitsu Siemens Computers’ CentricStor virtual tape solution has been certified for use with CommVault Systems, Inc.’s CommVault® QiNetix™ software. This means that customers who depend on CommVault to manage their business critical data can now take advantage of CentricStor from Fujitsu Siemens Computers to improve the performance, availability and reliability of their tape processing and to consolidate their tape storage. CentricStor, the leading virtual tape solution, employs disk-to-disk-to-tape (D2D2T) technology to offer outstanding information lifecycle management (ILM) functions for data protection in business-critical environments.

Fujitsu announces World’s first Embedded 90nm Graphic Display Controller for Automotive Applications

Singapore, March 27, 2006 – Fujitsu Microelectronics Asia Pte Ltd (FMAL) today announced the launch of two Graphic Display Controllers (GDCs) designed for the embedded automotive market, including the world’s first controller for this sector to be fabricated in 90nm technology. The two GDCs, ’Carmine’ and ’Lime’, have been developed in response to customer requests for Fujitsu to enhance its extensive GDC roadmap at both the higher and lower ends.
