Singapore, April 22, 2005 – Fujitsu Microelectronics Asia Pte Ltd today introduced its highly integrated WiMAX system-on-chip, the MB87M3400, which complies with the IEEE802.16-2004 standard and will enable development of a new generation of WiMAX-compliant broadband wireless access (BWA) equipment.

Singapore, April 22, 2005 – Fujitsu Microelectronics Asia Pte Ltd (FMAL), a world leader in complex system-on-chip development and pioneer in the development of WiMAX broadband wireless access semiconductor technology, and ZTE Corporation, the largest listed telecommunications systems supplier in China, today announced that ZTE is working with Fujitsu to deploy its WiMAX-certifiable equipment based on Fujitsu’s highly integrated WiMAX SoC, the MB87M3400.
