WeServ Achieves CMMI Maturity Level 5
Manila, November 8, 2006 — WESERV SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL, INC. (WeServ), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fujitsu Philippines, Inc. has reached Maturity Level 5 of the Capability Maturity Model Integration – Software (Staged Representation), Version 1.1 following an appraisal conducted from October 23 to 28, 2006 by Tech Mahindra Ltd. The appraisal covers application software design, development and maintenance activities at WeServ.

CMMI® (Capability Maturity Model® Integration) is an internationally recognized process improvement maturity model for the development of products and services. It consists of best practices that address development and maintenance activities that cover the product lifecycle from conception through delivery and maintenance. Maturity Level 5 is the highest maturity rating a company can obtain in a software engineering process.
WeServ is also ISO 9001:2000 Quality Standard certified and is the first member of the Fujitsu International Group of Companies in the Philippines to achieve CMMI Level 5.
