ISO 14001 Promotion Secretariat receives 3rd Award during the 2004 Fujitsu Group Environmental Photo Contest
Canlubang, Laguna, August 11, 2005 — The Fujitsu Group Environmental Contribution Contest is an annual activity that has been consistently held since 1995. Fujitsu has granted awards to plants, divisions and individuals to honor the work of members of the Fujitsu Group who are striving towards sustainable development of the environment. These awards cover all Fujitsu operations, including domestic and overseas affiliates.
The Environmental Contribution Contest was divided into two categories: the Environmental Photo Contest and the Environmental Volunteer Activity Contest. For 2004, the themes of submitted entries focused on symbiosis of human and nature, environmental preservation activities, conservation of natural resources and global warming.
The ISO 14001 Secretariat received two (2) Green Awards under the Environmental Volunteer Activity Contest for: “Environmental Activities at Rizal Institute of Canlubang” and “e-NFORMATION”.
The photo presented below (entitled “San Cristobal River Clean-Up”) was one of the ISO 14001 Secretariat’s official entries to the recently concluded Environmental Photo Contest. The photo was granted the 3rd Award as it exemplified FCPP employees’ commitment to support environmental protection endeavors in coordination with other civic organizations.
