Fujitsu Philippines Partners with GIS for Enterprise-wide Retail Management Business Solution
Manila, August 29, 2003 — Fujitsu Philippines, Inc. (FPI), one of the country's leading systems integrators, has recently forged an alliance with Global Implementation Services, Inc. (GIS). FPI signed-up GIS as Value Added Reseller for Fujitsu TeamPOS2000 POS hardware and related products such as POS thermal printer, Fujitsu Primergy servers, Deskpower desktop and Lifebook notebook computers.
The partnership aims to develop a strong and strategic alliance through testing and development of a Windows-based enterprise-wide, end-to-end retail management system from store level Point-of-Sale to the headquarters and warehouse sites. The system is an integration of Microsoft's Retail Management System and Microsoft Business Solutions-Great Plains financial application software running on Fujitsu TeamPOS2000 and related hardware platform. This comprehensive business solution is vital tool for the retail enterprise with multiple chain of stores, as well as the medium and small retail businesses.

GIS is a Microsoft-managed Independent Software Vendor and Microsoft Business Solutions Certified Partner engaged in the distribution, sales, and support of Microsoft Great Plains financials, Retail Management System application software, and related Microsoft products and services, including operating system licenses and middleware products.
