Fujitsu Ten Soaring High in the 11^th Toyota Suppliers Conference

Fujitsu Ten Corporation of the Philippines, in its pursuit for excellence had proven exceptional performances as it gathered prestigious awards on Cost, Quality, and Delivery during 2008 Toyota Suppliers Conference.

Held at Bellevue Hotel in Alabang last 03 April 2008, with an almost perfect setting from exhibition displays, superb cuisine, well-designed scaffold and sounds powered by professional Production House, surely, nothing else can a guest ask over since everything is in formal and proper arrangement. The affair was represented by our dear President Masahiko Enoki along with FTTL General Manager for Sales Mr. Yuzo Daimaru, Mr. Rogelio Paguila,, and Mr. Ryosuke Yonezawa.

As the main event draw near, guests can be seen in the exhibition hall, taking their time to view the displays prior to proceeding at the main function room with so much anticipation of being recognized in this prominent awarding body.

At the start of it, a striking commercial featuring the new Vios with Orlando Bloom were shown to all. Welcome speeches from Toyota’s top management were then followed. Awarding is the highlight of conference, and we, Fujitsu Ten seized the following major awards: Excellent in Cost Performance, Excellent in Delivery Performance, first time to be awarded of Superior in Quality Performance, and Most Outstanding Supplier of the Year. The latter recognition was also the first time to be given in a supplier by Toyota Motor Philippines making us to be the most proud company among all suppliers.

Mr. Masahiko Enoki, humbly walked on stage four times to accept such recognition from top executives of Toyota Motor Philippines headed by their respected President Mr. Hiroshi Ito in obverse of awaiting guests.

In his acceptance speech, he cited that these awards would not have been possible without the efforts and passion of FTCP Team Members in its continuous quest for excellence, never- ending support and compliance of suppliers, and vital contribution from other companies. Also, he mentioned some significant programs that were carefully formulated in year 2005 wherein basic foundation of following rules and continued implementation in year 2006 helped us in achieving such recognition. Thus, Emergency for Quality Program Awareness emerged resulting to achieving zero defects for 18-consecutive months up to date.

With these acknowledgments, FTCP and its team members will absolutely wield more fervor in their respective work processes hoping to achieve the same awards in the next suppliers’ conference.
