Autonomous Computing - Optimizing IT for your Business

11 November 2004

We have all seen movies where super-intelligent computers control a robot-populated world unhindered by "inferior" human beings. These computers are capable of self-governing actions in dynamic and heterogeneous environments. Comparing these systems to the generally self-regulating human body, we normally don't worry about making our blood pump or turning on our immune system. Imagine a server system that configures itself according to users' business needs, protects itself from problems, heals itself when "sick," and optimizes itself to run any task thrown its way. Autonomous computing is the logical answer to the spiraling problem of IT complexity. Its goals are to reduce cost, improve service levels, increase flexibility, and simplify business processes.

Fujitsu Philippines, Inc., in cooperation with Fujitsu Asia Pacific, Ltd., including speakers from Japan, Australia and Singapore, will hold a FREE seminar entitled, "Autonomous Computing - Optimizing IT for Your Business", on November 11, 2004 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the CATS, New World Hotel in Makati City. Registration starts at 1:30 p.m. Afternoon snacks will be served and cocktails will follow.

The seminar will also discuss Fujitsu's strategy for optimizing IT with existing deployable tested solutions for SMEs to large enterprises in the Philippines, highlight Fujitsu's strength in providing cost effective solutions for resource consolidation, and show the features, advantages and benefits of Fujitsu's highly reliable, scaleable and high performance Primepower Servers, Open System Eternus Storage Solutions for DAS, SAN-attached storage and NAS, and highly flexible and manageable Intel-based Primergy Blade Servers.

If you are Chief Operating, Finance and/or Information Officers, Data Center managers and IT consultants of large and small to medium enterprises in the Philippines, including System Integrators, Internet Data Centers, and Large IT Distributors and Resellers, this seminar is for you!
