PDCP

The Private Development Corporation of the Philippines (PDCP) Bank chose Fujitsu Philippines, Inc. to implement HR PRO, which handles its personnel, attendance, payroll and other human resource-related information from organization to processing.

HR PRO was designed and developed by UniServ Systems International, Inc., a software services subsidiary of FPI. It is a GUI-based human resource management system designed to provide the information and the tools necessary to manage effectively the most important asset of an organization - its PEOPLE. A highly integrated system composed of several modules, HR PRO targets to give PDCP Bank a competitive edge in the local banking market. Among the seven modules of HR PRO, PDCP Bank has decided to implement the major ones: Personnel Information, Attendance Monitoring, and Payroll System. With these modules, the system ensures a more comprehensive and better management of employee information, performance, and compensation. It also guarantees to eliminate manual processing, which can improve employee productivity.

Customer Satisfaction

The duration of the project depends on the completion of the ongoing customization. "While everyone gets excited to go live with the system, PDCP remains open to the fact that the system can not be implemented in just a batter of an eyelash," says Neneth GevaƱa, EVP and GM of UniServ. "The truth is, the project really demands a lot of time. And this is the first time for the bank to implement such an integrated HR solution adds more to it. It's a good thing that the PDCP project team is cooperating very well. Thanks to the help of Mr. Tony Cruz, the First Vice President for Controllership, who believes that the system can minimize if not totally eliminate the difficulties that the HR and Payroll Departments are now experiencing."

"The management feels happy about the results of the first run. They say that the processing speed of HR PRO promises a positive impact on their business," comments Tony Cruz.

PDCP also expressed great satisfaction with the kind of support that they get from the implementors. "FPI and UniServ have an edge when it comes to client support, probably one of the reasons why the management has decided to go for HR PRO, " says Imelda Espiritu of the Payroll Department. The final test is yet to come. Nevertheless, both FPI and UniServ remain optimistic and believe that the system would again speak for itself - another winning challenge for HR PRO!
