Solaris Onsite Personnel/System Administrator
Qualifications:
- Primarily responsible for level 1/2 Technical Support, Systems Management, Administration and Project Support of customer Solaris platform.
- Must have expertise in server hardware and platform enabling software implementation and administration.
- Must have strong technical knowledge in server backup configuration and monitoring (Veritas NBU).
- Must have good knowledge in supporting on storage technology, like SAN, NAS and DAS.
- Must be familiar with administration tools like Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas File System, sudo, ssh.
- UNIX Shell programming skills.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software
- Must have networking experience with TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, NIS, LDAP etc.
- Must have at least 2-4 years experience on Solaris System Administration.
- Must have Sun Solaris certification.
All candidates for the above positions must have the ff. additional qualifications:
- Have strong documentation skills and expertise in handling escalated customer issues.
- Able to emulate processes and procedures specific to the customer and of ITIL framework.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- Strong multi-national, multi-cultural experience and orientation.
- Customer focused.
