Fujitsu wins Microsoft Business Productivity Solution Award
Fujitsu's innovative use of Microsoft technology has been recognised with the Microsoft Business Productivity Solution Partner of the Year award. Microsoft announced the winners of the Microsoft Australia and New Zealand Partner Conference 2004 Awards earlier this year, formally acknowledging Microsoft Certified and Microsoft Gold Certified Partners who have demonstrated exemplary use of technology and innovation to deliver business value.
Fujitsu's winning business solution provides a robust and scalable portal infrastructure and enterprise integration hub which connects disparate information systems. The integrated portal system is replacing inefficient paper-based processes. The new system is based on Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003 and custom-developed .NET Webparts.
Fujitsu Limited is a Microsoft Global Partner and Fujitsu Australia is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner in the Information Worker Solutions and Advanced Infrastructure Solutions competencies in Australia.
According to Microsoft Australia's Partner Group Director, Kerstin Baxter, "It is pleasing to see the great work Fujitsu is doing locally for its customers."
"Each year Microsoft Australia has the distinct pleasure of recognising Microsoft Certified Partners that have demonstrated innovation in using technology to deliver great service to their customers," Ms Baxter said. "Fujitsu delivered to its customer a comprehensive infrastructure upgrade which enabled them to significantly reduce IT management costs and achieve dramatic improvements in productivity and operational processes. We extend our congratulations to Fujitsu on its award."
