Gartner Places Fujitsu in Leader Quadrant for Enterprise-Scope Suites

Fujitsu Australia Limited

Sunnyvale, CA, August 23, 2005

Fujitsu Software Corporation today announced that Gartner, Inc. has positioned it in the leaders quadrant of the Magic Quadrant for Enterprise-Scope Application Platform Suites (E-APS), 3Q05, published on July 20, 2005. According to Gartner, Inc., leaders are vendors that are performing well today, have a clear vision of market direction, and are actively building competencies to sustain their leadership position in the market.

Gartner, Inc. predicts that, through 2010, more than 75 percent of mainstream enterprises will invest in integrated, multipurpose technology platforms aiming to avoid the complexity of best-of-breed systems integration.

“Many users value the advantages of one-stop product support, coordinated installation and versioning, and the integrated nature of development and management tools of an E-APS. At the same time, many users acquire the E-APS incrementally, as needed for the relevant products,” states the Gartner, Inc. July 20 Magic Quadrant for E-APS report. “Vendors must be able to appeal to both of these user buying patterns.”

“We are honored that Fujitsu has been positioned in the leader quadrant in the Magic Quadrant for Enterprise-Scope Application Platform Suites,” said Robert Sepanloo, senior vice president of Interstage at Fujitsu Software Corporation. “Through the innovation of our service-oriented architecture and open, modular design of our Interstage Suite, we are providing our customers and partners worldwide with uncompromising quality today and the flexibility to address their future application demands.”
