Fujitsu Australia announces InfraCare services brand

Fujitsu Australia Limited

Sydney, July 26, 2001

Fujitsu Australia has launched InfraCare, the Fujitsu Group's worldwide IT Infrastructure service for companies which operate both locally and globally. Fujitsu Australia will focus on the Australasian delivery of the service, working with Fujitsu Group partners globally.

The InfraCare portfolio provides integrated infrastructure services for Data Centre, Network and End User environments, including managed services, hosting services and contact centres.

InfraCare is managed centrally and delivered locally, allowing customers to focus on their core business requirements. It gives customers a single point of contact and reporting structure with the Fujitsu Group for their global operations, and simplifies tasks such as managing complex assets and multiple vendor relationships.

"Fujitsu Australia is committed to delivering the benefits of the global InfraCare brand to customers locally through our IT Infrastructure Services business," Fujitsu Services Executive General Manager Peter McFarlane said.

"InfraCare gives customers the freedom to focus on their core business. It provides them with a single point of contact to quality services, and enables them to focus critical resources on their day-to-day business, rather than the complexities of managing their IT infrastructure. We have been providing many of these services for some time and we continue to extend our range of offerings in areas such as Internet Data Centres, xSP service provision and e-Support, to ensure we meet the ongoing needs of our customers."

InfraCare services will be tailored to the needs of each customer, according to factors such as geographic location and IT strategy, and will cover contracts from managed services to full outsourcing for all IT services.

Supported by a global team of 60,000 skilled services personnel, InfraCare is backed by Fujitsu's proven methodologies, solution innovation and proven flexibility in delivering IT infrastructure, from consultation through to implementation and ongoing management of services.
