12.30 PM Welcome & Lunch buffet


Managing Director Netherlands Bas de Reus will kick-off the agenda with an overview of the End User Experience (EUX) challenges and Fujitsu’s vision of creating a human-centric intelligent society. Your presenter and host Mark Schippers Fujitsu’s Head of End User Services & Head of Service Desks will guide you through the following sessions ensuring it will be an interactive afternoon.


13.15 PM Robotic Process Automation


Robotic Process Automation is one of the hottest items in the industry today, with applications such as the virtual agent in Fujitsu’s Next Generation Service Desk solution. Fujitsu’s Ron Commandeur (EMEIA Application Transformation Proposition Manager) shares his vision on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and provides some practical cases. Given the potential large impact the introduction of RPA can have on your organization and the internal ways of working, Ron will share his practical best practices on how to best introduce this new technology.


13.40 PM The Road to More Personal Computing


After a lot of focus on cloud computing, the hot topic in today’s news is focused on Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality and Artificial Intelligence. In this session of our guest speaker from Microsoft Martin Tirion, will share Microsoft’s vision on what is possible and what the road is to a more personal way of computing is. You will hear about the role of the cloud, HoloLens, VR, AI and more.


14.25 PM Guided Tour in Experience Center ‘The Bridge’


In “The Bridge”, Fujitsu’s new Experience Center in Maarssen, we demonstrate solutions that illustrate the possibilities to transform work and life in the hyperconnected world. Ronald Bottenberg will take you on a journey and share with you how Internet of Things-systems can be applied for numerous use cases in agriculture, logistics, utilities, finance and other industries. Meet, for example, Daisy the Connected Cow. Another example is Fujitsu supporting urban planning with the system SPATIOWL that collects and analyses movement data in real time, combining these in a geographical presentation.


14.45 PM Digital End User Experience in combination with Hybrid IT


IT leaders face the challenge to develop a more social, mobile and data-driven work environment that support their changing business needs. Ido presents one of latest ‘anywhere, anytime, any device’ environments increasing productivity and collaboration. 15.15 PM The User-Centric Workplace at the Port of Rotterdam


The objective of the Port of Rotterdam Authority is to enhance the port’s competitive position as a logistics hub and world-class industrial complex. It develops, manages and exploits the port in a sustainable way and renders speedy and safe services for shipping. As strategic partner for end user services, Fujitsu supports Port of Rotterdam in realizing these objectives through a modern digital workplace. In an interview with Mark Schippers, Jan Pieter van Santen of Port of Rotterdam will elaborate on how they set out their implementation plan to creating a user-centric workplace, through a carefully designed roadmap, using a mix of existing and new technology.

Mark Schippers is a result-oriented professional with high organizational sensitiveness. With his encouraging, enthusiastic style of leadership, Mark is the perfect presenter and host of Fujitsu’s EUX Event. Continuous improvement is important to him and in his current role as Head of End User Services & Service Desks he always tries to challenge and inspire the people he works with. And together, create a vision of the goals they aspire to achieve. At the EUX Event, he will challenge the speakers with sharp questions and bring about a dialogue with the audience.

Ron Commandeur joined Fujitsu in 2016 as an Application Transformation Proposition Manager for Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA). Previously, Ron was with Hewlett-Packard Enterprise for 20 years in the Application Transformation and consulting space. Ron is accountable for managing the Business Application Services EMEIA Application Transformation propositions, offering portfolio and overall vision. His key focus is to make sure Fujitsu is established as a thought leader in the Digital & Application Transformation market.

Martin Tirion is an User Experience Evangelist at Microsoft. In that role he talks about the Microsoft platform and the Microsoft tools that can be used for building applications. He focuses particularly on client technologies, like the Universal Windows Platform and Xamarin. He also talks about AR/VR/MR solutions, like HoloLens. With over 25 years of experience in building applications on various platforms, he advises on implementing a great User Experience.

As an IT Consultant, Ronald Bottenberg is currently working with Fujitsu’s Client Computing Devices division. His main focus is the development and positioning of Fujitsu’s Client Devices. He also advises partners and customers. Among his specialities are Mobilizing the Enterprise, trends in Internet of Things (IoT) and all corresponding devices and platforms. With his drive and enthusiasm about technology, he is the perfect man to give guided tours in Fujitsu’s Experience Center The Bridge and during major international events such as Fujitsu World Tour and Forum.
