Originally founded in 1919, AKG has gone on to become a world leader in cooling and heating exchange systems. This family company employs over 2,600 people and manufactures its high performance cooling systems at 13 locations spread over 8 countries.

AKG wanted to ensure a rapid and efficient implementation of SAP across its global sites as well as to permanently optimize SAP system operation and simplify administration.

Fujitsu was chosen to implement FlexFrame for SAP, using PRIMERGY blade servers as the basic hardware and NetApp filers for storage.

This has led to a significant reduction in downtime, greater efficiency and cost savings.
