Training: Introduction

FTA provides training programs to the following equipment:

• Transmission Equipment : FLX Series (SDH) - FLX150T, FLX150/600, FLX600A and FLX2500A
• Access Equipment : FSX2000 (PDH)

In some cases training can be conducted at the customer’s sites, in this situation the customer must provide the necessary training equipment as well as the training facilities such as classroom and equipment.

Customers who are interested in these courses are to contact the Training Center.

Course Summary

The mode of training includes setting up of equipment which is to be interfaced with network test simulations, and configured by trainees.

Other Courses and Duration

The above courses and course duration can be modified to suit the customer, for examples more emphasis on certain segments and less emphasis on others. The courses to some extend be customized to suit customer needs.

Size of Each Class

For classroom training, the trainer to trainees ratio is not crucial as many as 1 to 20 can be accommodated. However for hands-on exercises, the nominal ratio should not more than 1 to 8. The ideal ratio is 1 to 6. This will provide an effective teaching ratio.

Training certificate will be given to participant upon the completion of the training.
