Training

This is one area where our customers request FTA to conduct training programs for their technical personnel. Currently FTA has completed a number of training programs ranging from Operation and Maintenance to Installation and Acceptance Testing Courses. Other courses are in the planning process. The aspect of training will become crucial as the complexity of the Carrier’s Transmission Network increases.

At FTA, there is an internal training program put into place for staff development. The training programs are divided into compulsory and non-compulsory components. The compulsory segment involves the courses the staff have to undertake before he/she attain that position e.g. Supervisor Course for senior engineers, Management Course for managers and other specialized courses for specific jobs. The non-compulsory segment enables staff members to undertake part-time studies in external institutions.

Internal Training Provide FTA staff with :

• Overseas equipment training in Japan or Fujitsu subsidiaries
• Outside specialist courses training to upgrade technical skills
• Invite overseas technical experts to work in FTA

External Training Provide customer systems training in :

• Installation & Acceptance Testing
• Operational & Maintenance
• Systems Overview for Managers
