FLX Series

The FLX Series, consisting of the FLX150T, FLX150/600, FLX600A, FLX2500A, FLX-GS(10G), provides operators with the most effective and economical network applications by selecting and combining appropriate equipment.

FLX150T

FLX150T is a dual STM-1 Terminal Multiplexer. (TRM), which is used exclusively for multiplexing 2Mbps or 34Mbps tributaries into two STM-1 lines. This equipment can be used as tributary equipment for FLX150/600, FLX600A, FLX2500A.

FLX150/600

FLX150/600, with built-in cross-connect capability, can be applied to either STM-1 or STM-4 hierarchies. This system can be universally applied to configure Point-to-Point, Regenerator, Ring, Linear, Hub, and DXC networks.

FLX600A

FLX600A, with built-in cross-connect capability, can be applied to either the STM-1, the STM-4, or optionally the STM-16 hierarchy. The advantage of FLX600A over FLX150/600 is the larger capacity of the tributary ports as well as the cross-connect capability (VC-12 x 1,008ch : 2.5G). This advantage makes the FLX600A particularly useful as a hub node in rings, or as a gateway node in interconnected rings.

FLX2500A

FLX2500A is an STM-16 Add-drop Multiplexer, which can be universally applied to configure Point-to-Point, Regenerator, Ring, Linear, and Hub networks. For longer transmissions, the FLX2500A can be interconnected with Optical Amplifier Equipment which is optionally available.

FLX-GS

FLX-GS is an STM-64 Transmission System including a 10Gbps line equipment shelf and the associated tributary shelves with VC-4 cross-connect functions. This system can be universally applied to configure Point-to-Point, Regenerator, Ring, Linear, Hub, networks.
