Wireless Local Loop System
The rapid advance of digital transmission systems in recent years has been accompanied by the introduction of many new telecommunications network services. Furthermore, today's network operators demand rapid establishment of the networks, high-performance, ease of management and ISDN capabilities.
To meet these needs, Fujitsu developed the FWL-P300 wireless local loop system which utilizes PHS digital telecommunications technology. The new system is suited for use in digital wireless loop system for urban and rural telecommunications networks where conventional wire lines and wireless systems are neither practical nor cost effective. The system also supports the latest ITU-T V5.2 open interface with local switches. This enables more than 30,000 users to be handled on a single system, and the telephone services to be provided over a wide area, from urban to rural, quickly and with little investment.

Fujitsu FWL-P300 subscriber unit (SU)
Installed inside each WLL subscriber's house and utilizes a Yagi antenna mounted on an outside wall or rooftop for its air
interface to the BTE.
