Compact yet High Speed Performance
- An entry level A3 scanner that has a foldaway output tray thereby keeping the footprint size to 15.7 x 8.8 x 7.5 (inch).
- With the improved technology, be it color or black & white images, fi-5530C is able to scan at a speed of 35ppm/ 70ipm at 200dpi. (IMPROVED!!!)
- The Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) allows users to digitize up to 100 pages at any one time with paper size ranging from A8 to A3
- A high speed USB 2.0 & Ultra SCSI interface supports fast data transmission, even of high resolution image data.
Paper is always handled with Great Care
- Ultrasonic Multi-Feed sensor detects whenever more than 1 sheet of paper is feed simultaneously into the scanner regardless of document weight, size or color. This technology also allows fi-5530C to do mixed batch scanning with great ease. (IMPROVED!!!)
- The Straight paper path ADF can now simultaneously digitize the front and back of plastic cards such as ID cards or driving license. (NEW!!!)
- Loaded with is another technology for long page scanning of up to 34” in length document.
Image Quality will never be Compromised
- With two true 600 dpi optical resolution CCDs, it allows you to capture the intricate details of document that other scanners might miss.
- Papers that are slightly skewed, with the auto de-skew function, this can easily be corrected. Small or mixed image documents can also be cut to actual dimensions, optimizing file size with the use of auto crop function.
- The selectable black background enables the use of document De-skew and Auto-cropping for better image accuracy. This switchable black background also enables high quality scanning of thin documents.
Option
- Use of Imprinter enables users to print dates and other information on either the front or back of original documents; easing the search for original documents at a later date.
- Image Processing Software removes noise & dirt for enhanced image quality.

- Adobe Acrobat Standard 7.0 offers an easy way to create and share secure and reliable Adobe PDF (Portable Document Format) documents.
- ScandAll 21 allows user to scan to preview/ PDF/ email/ designated files in one seamless operation.
- Preview mode allows immediate display of scanned results. Setting can then be changed or saved to apply to a whole batch of documents.
- Virtual ReScan (VRS) enables high accuracy in data captured from scanned documents, significantly reducing the need to manually correct the results of intelligent character recognition (ICR) and optical character recognition (OCR).
