- Armed with Ultrasonic Multi-Feed sensor, fi-5220C is now able to detect whenever 2 or more sheets are being fed simultaneously into the scanner and it is also capable of mixed batch scanning. (NEW!!!)
- fi-5220C is also loaded with the technology of scanning long page documents of up to 34'' in length.

- With three true 600 dpi optical resolution CCDs, it allows you to capture the intricate details of document that other scanners might miss.
- The selectable black background enables the use of document De-skew and Auto-Cropping for better image accuracy. This switchable black background also enables high quality scanning of thin documents.

- ScandAll 21 allows user to scan to preview/ PDF/ email/ designated files in one seamless operation.
- Preview mode allows immediate display of scanned results. Setting can then be changed or saved to apply to a whole batch of documents.
- Virtual ReScan (VRS) enables high accuracy in data captured from scanned documents, significantly reducing the need to manually correct the results of intelligent character recognition (ICR) and optical character recognition (OCR).
