Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd
Singapore, 10 March 2004 — The LifeBook C2310 offers business and home users an attractive full feature alternative to their desktop including a 15" SuperFine XGA display and DVD Super Multi drive that supports every DVD format.
Fujitsu's 15" SuperFine XGA display presents a crisp, high-definition picture and image quality that far exceeds the standard AntiGlare LCD screen. In combination with the DVD Super Multi drive, this makes the LifeBook C2310 ideal for movie-viewing and rich multimedia playback.
DVD viewing is further enhanced with the one-touch brightness button that instantly switches the screen to full brightness. Business and home users will also appreciate the customisable multimedia application panel that allows them to access different applications or control the CD player at the touch of a button.
With the high storage capacity DVD writer available in the LifeBook C2310, users can now backup memory-intensive files such as their multi-media presentations, music collections, digital video movies or photo albums.
Taking advantage of Intel® Centrino™ Mobile Technology, the LifeBook C2310 offers a perfect solution for modern unwired homes and offices. Utilising the latest 802.11b/g wireless standard, the LifeBook C2310 affords the business and home user efficient access to data with faster download speeds of up to 54Mbps anywhere, anytime.
Raymond Foo, Associate Director, Marketing, Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific says the days of a static PC are numbered. "With wireless technology becoming more commonplace across the region, modern users expect complete portability from their PC. However it is important to address the very different needs of home users and their business counterparts."
"The LifeBook C2310 addresses the needs of the home user by including an integrated Intel® Extreme Graphics 2 card with DVMT (Dynamic Video Memory Technology) to deliver high-performance 2D/3D graphics, video, and display capabilities. This greatly improves the visual experience on DVDs, digital photos and computer games."
"Business users require connectivity, so the LifeBook C2310 includes four USB 2.0 ports, IEEE1394, two PC card slots and a SD/MS PRO slot. These ports allow the LifeBook C2310 to access printers, scanners as well as digital cameras, MP3 players and other modern peripherals and devices," Mr Foo said.
The LifeBook C2310 also includes UpdateNavi, a new utility for online updates and downloads of Fujitsu drivers. UpdateNavi will prompt users to update their drivers when new ones are available, thereby improving functionality and extending the life of the LifeBook C2310.
