The announcement comes in conjunction with the launch of Microsoft® Windows® XP Tablet PC Edition, a new version of Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional, with an extensive and integrated suite of utilities such as handwriting and voice recognition.

Designed to consume less power, the new series is the latest addition to the FR family of 32-bit RISC microcontrollers.
