Fujitsu has outlined the global expansion of its TRIOLE strategy for the optimised design, development and deployment of highly reliable and adaptive business-critical IT infrastructure in heterogeneous environment. Fujitsu Asia will play a key role in bringing products, solutions and services based on the TRIOLE strategy to customers in South East Asia, allowing them to increase business efficiency, agility and continuity, the company said.

"Over the years, Fujitsu has amassed a wealth of knowledge in the implementation and management of comprehensive IT solutions," Said N.Karasuda, Group CEO of Fujitsu Asia.” As a leading IT & communications solutions provider in Asia, we are now mobilizing the group’s global resources around TRIOLE to help customers in this region optimize their IT-infrastructure in ways that will accelerate responsiveness to changing market dynamics and meet pressing management challenges.”

According to the company, TRIOLE is an optimized and comprehensive IT infrastructure for the ubiquitous era. It is aimed at strengthening a company’s integration capabilities and product offerings. Inspired by the German word for triplet, TRIOLE is based on the three core technological areas of autonomics, virtualisation and integration. TRIOLE is designed to help achieve business growth and reduce the total cost of ownership through speedy construction of highly reliable open-system installations, integration of existing technologies and improvement of business processes with flexibility for future expansion.

TRIOLE provides business agility and increases the value of IT assets with flexible and dynamic linking of new and existing IT systems using “services-oriented integration”. Another attractive benefit is the rapid development and deployment of business applications through the usage of TRIOLE’s application development framework.

On of the biggest TRIOLE advantage is its ability to combine server, storage, network and middleware products to create an integrated, multi-vendor system, extending the life of existing IT systems and expanding their capacity and functionality.

An example of the TRIOLE strategy in action is the FlexFrame for mySAP Business Suite solution. The FlexFrame for mySAP Business Suite solution replaces traditional complex environment of multiple dedicated servers with a modular concept that incorporates the latest business-critical computing technologies like Fujitsu PRIMEGY servers. This modular approach simplifies the IT infrastructure and offers on-demand provisioning and other autonomic features to reduce TCO by 30 per cent of greater, said the company.
