6 Gbit/s SAS HBA Mezzanine Card
Data transfer from and to server blade external storage media requires high performing I/O controllers on the one hand, and on the other hand the optional concurrent or dedicated use of the provided storage capacity. The new SAS HBA mezzanine card meet both: operating with up to 6 Gbit/s transfer rate they guarantee high speed transmission of data.
The connection to external SAS devices offers more than one kind of usage: disk capacity may be assigned exclusively to the server blade, or disk content can be used concurrently (sharing) with other server blades, assuming the operating systems supports this.
