VTT and Fujitsu renew wide-ranging agreement on ICT services

Fujitsu EMEIA

Helsinki/Luxembourg, April 05, 2016 Fujitsu Finland Oy and VTT have further extended their IT infrastructure service agreement by two years, with Fujitsu continuing to provide a wide range of managed infrastructure services to VTT, the largest multitechnological applied research organization in northern Europe.

In addition to desktop availability and on-site services, Fujitsu’s managed ICT infrastructure services to VTT cover everything from production system uptime monitoring to managed desktops, and telecommunications to print management. Also included is the SOC (Security Operation Center) service, which monitors device-generated alerts, initiates necessary actions, and reports observations to VTT.

Since winning the contract with VTT back in 2004, Fujitsu has worked together with its customer to manage substantial growth in the company’s ICT services, and this is the second renewal.

VTT CIO Markus Ekman says: ”We have worked together with Fujitsu for more than a decade now, jointly ensuring that VTT’s technological environment on a global scale remains competitive in terms of the actual technologies but also in how they are applied. Fujitsu’s capability to provide effective and renewable services has met our expectations. Fujitsu is an excellent partner and therefore our journey together continues on.”
