Fujitsu EMEIA

News facts:

  • Most powerful ever mobile workstation from Fujitsu for designers and engineers on the go
  • Breakthrough in mobile workstation portability with desktop-matching performance packed into a 15-inch notebook
  • Fujitsu enables workstation mobility without compromise on security
Luxembourg, June 07, 2016 The most-powerful ever mobile workstation from Fujitsu heralds a new era by closing the gap with its desktop counterparts. The new 15.6-inch (36.9 cm) FUJITSU CELSIUS H760 Mobile Workstation finally frees high-end users such as designers, architects and engineers from deskbound devices, without compromise on security, connectivity or performance.

Available immediately, the CELSIUS H760 is Fujitsu’s highest performance ever mobile workstation to truly match entry-level desktop workstation capabilities. The new workstation is equally powerful on the road and in the office – no matter whether this is for video, 3D CAD or visualization.

Ulrike Rueger, Head of Category Management for Client Computing Devices and Internet of Things at Fujitsu EMEIA, says: “Until now, users had to compromise when working with mobile workstations, as it has always been challenging to match desktop workstation class performance in a mobile device. Now, Fujitsu has managed to fit all the technology and maximum security into a 15.6-inch mobile workstation,. The CELSIUS H760 starts a new era in Fujitsu’s almost 25-year history in developing workstations. From today, you can enjoy unlimited mobility with a workstation that computes without compromise.”

Serge Palaric, VP Sales Embedded & OEMs EMEA at NVIDIA, says: “The Quadro M2000M graphics platform, based on NVIDIA’s innovative Maxwell architecture, delivers best performance for a 15-inch mobile device. As Fujitsu has built this in to the new FUJITSU CELSIUS H760, engineers and designers can expect desktop-level performance and the stability and compatibility to meet the requirements of the most demanding professional users.”

CELSIUS H760 users enjoy maximum security for their sensitive data thanks to a full array of security features, such as the integrated SmartCard reader, TPM 2.0 for data encryption and management as well as the option of built-in Fujitsu PalmSecure biometric access1.

When it comes to connectivity and docking, there is no need to carry multiple adapters. The CELSIUS H760 includes the latest USB Type-C connector offering more speed, more protocols and charging capabilities2, a VGA port to connect to projectors, and a full size DisplayPort for use for external monitors. The port replicator allows more convenience in the office, thanks to use of the same standard Fujitsu port replicator that is compatible with LIFEBOOK notebooks and STYLISTIC 2 in 1 device.

Pricing and availability

The CELSIUS H760 is available immediately. Pricing depends on region and configuration.

Notes to editors

1 PalmSecure™ is a leading-edge authentication system developed by Fujitsu using biometric technology that authenticates users based on palm vein pattern recognition rather than iris scanners or fingerprint readers. As palm veins are internal and have a wealth of differentiating features, attempts to forge an identity are extremely difficult, thereby enabling a high level of security.

2 USB Type-C offers data transfer rates of up to 40 Gbps, supports Thunderbolt 3 and delivers up to 15W of power, DisplayPort 1,2 Technical features of the CELSIUS H760 include a Full HD or UHD/4K anti-glare display, a quad-core Intel® Xeon® processor, professional NVIDIA® Quadro® graphics cards up to M2000M, capacity of up to 64GB DDR4-2133 MHz memory, and a M.2 PCIe NVMe solid-state drives.

About workstations
Workstations are designed for the demands of users who work with professional applications. These applications are absolutely mission critical and can range from large and complex datasets up to intricate 3D models. While workstations have been around for more than two decades - helping engineers to design cars, ships and buildings - the most recent developments in content creation, CAD, mechanical simulation, rendering, digitization, virtual reality, paired with the demand from SMB as well as corporate customers to pull in talents across the globe for certain projects and the further increase in mobile workers – have accelerated the demand for more performance paired with graphical capabilities.
