Luxembourg, November 03, 2015 Fujitsu today announces its most comprehensive workstation portfolio. With the introduction of two new models - CELSIUS W and CELSIUS J - to the workstation line-up, Fujitsu is addressing customer demands for smaller, yet more powerful workstations and a minimum lifecycle of 36 months, while at the same time achieving maximum performance scores and low noise emissions.

The extended Fujitsu CELSIUS workstations portfolio provides a wide range of essential tools for any computing role that requires the highest levels of performance – whether designing cars, constructing buildings, analyzing or responding to complex data, or financial modeling.

Designed, engineered and produced in Germany, the new FUJITSU Workstation CELSIUS W and CELSIUS J models are specifically designed for demanding tasks and applications such as video editing, mechanical and electrical computer aided design (CAD), architecture, engineering and construction (AEC), and finance. They also meet specific needs of the healthcare industry due to low noise emissions and extended product lifecycles. Fujitsu’s end-to-end capabilities are founded on 80 years of innovations and 25 years of workstation expertise.

Fujitsu’s customizing program – made4youOpen a new window – is a hallmark of all CELSIUS models as customers can choose from the widest range of options to meet their exact requirements. Fujitsu offers customizing services for hardware- and software-related alterations, add-on services to improve processes, and an extended lifetime for products to ensure continuous quality control in rollouts.

Featuring the latest Intel® Xeon® E3-1200 v5 family processors, a broad choice of professional graphics cards and storage devices, including super-fast PCIe SSDs to provide a quick loading of core applications and reliable high-endurance and business critical drives designed for long-term operation, the new CELSIUS J550 small form factor and CELSIUS W550 desktop workstation power through jobs that bring even high-end desktop PCs grinding to a halt.

Vera Schneevoigt, Senior Vice President, Product Supply Operations at Fujitsu says: “FUJITSU CELSIUS workstations stand out in the market in terms of performance, noise emissions and customization. Thanks to the combination of Fujitsu’s unique made4you customization capabilities supporting individual customer requirements and our own design, engineering and manufacturing facilities in Augsburg, Germany, which includes in-house developed BIOS and motherboards.”

FUJITSU Workstation CELSIUS J550 – Small and Powerful
The CELSIUS J550 is the newest and smallest member of the CELSIUS workstation family. Its innovative design supports full height graphics, a legacy PCI slot (optionally) within a 10-liter capacity. It is 66 percent smaller than the CELSIUS W550 desktop workstation, making it the ideal device for working environments with limited space such as digital signage, trading floors or control rooms but also mobile solutions in hospitals.

“FUJITSU CELSIUS workstations have an outstanding reputation with professionals. Combining the NVIDIA Quadro platform with the engineering skills of Fujitsu results in a powerful and versatile small form factor workstation," says Walter Mundt-Blum, Vice President Enterprise EMEAI at NVIDIA. “The CELSIUS J550 can house a Quadro K2200, delivering supreme performance in a very small envelope. With NVIDIA’s Mosaic technology it can also drive up to 8 displays, making it a great choice for multi-monitor environments.”

FUJITSU Workstation CELSIUS W550 and CELSIUS W550 Long Lifecycle
Fujitsu’s popular entry-level desktop workstation, the CELSIUS W550, is now available in a standard and a long lifecycle variant. Both these powerful systems deliver an abundant choice of components at an affordable price. Fujitsu is the only vendor offering a long lifecycle workstation that guarantees a minimum lifespan of 36 months for the entire platform.

FUJITSU Displays P-Line – Premium display line supporting now27” 4k Display
Combining FUJITSU CELSIUS Workstations with Fujitsu’s premium P Line displays, aimed at creative professionals, deliver unmatched picture performance. In terms of resolution the new FUJITSU P27T-7 UHD Display is the best choice for designers and creatives. It is designed for pixel, color and performance-hungry applications and provides outstanding picture quality with 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. This Ultra High Definition (UHD) resolution – also known as 4k - shows every detail in graphics intensive applications, and Picture in Picture (PiP) enables you to display comfortably content from two sources onto one screen. Proven ergonomics by an adjustable stand help to maintain a comfortable posture during long usage sessions. The rotation to portrait-format for multi-display usage and a multitude of UHD supporting interfaces make the P27T-7 UHD perfect for FUJITSU Workstations.
