Business Warehouse Accelerator Infrastructure 3 from Fujitsu Now Available

Fujitsu today announces the global availability of the third generation of its Business Warehouse Accelerator Infrastructure, an optimized infrastructure environment which is delivered to customers with the SAP NetWeaver® Business Warehouse Accelerator (SAP NetWeaver BW Accelerator) and SAP BusinessObjects Explorer™ software pre-installed. This offering gives the more than 7,000 enterprises using solutions from Fujitsu/SAP AG, not to mention new customers, an additional way to ensure that the continually increasing quantity of data available for business analytics is a competitive blessing, rather than an administrative curse.

 

With an entry-level solution already available in support of SAP NetWeaver BW Accelerator, Fujitsu is now the first vendor to combine the latest SAP® software developments in SAP NetWeaver BW Accelerator in a system with optional solid state disks (SSDs), the Fujitsu PRIMERGY BX922 S2 blade server. Removing the need for external storage means customers benefit from attractive pricing and reduced total cost of ownership (TCO), while seamless scalability assures necessary growth. Further significant efficiencies can be gained with Fujitsu’s innovative feature that enables up to three instances of SAP NetWeaver BW Accelerator to run in parallel on a single PRIMERGY BX900 system unit, where normally a separate system is required for each accelerator – at a greater investment and running cost.
