A successful start to 2010 for TDS

Orders worth many millions from new and existing customers

Neckarsulm, February 08, 2010

TDS, provider of a comprehensive range of IT services and solutions, with a special focus on SAP and HR, has started 2010 strongly, winning new business worth millions of euros.  Many of TDS’ existing customers have chosen to renew and extend the scope of their contracts, in addition to orders from a variety of new sources - these include Steigenberger Hotels, Wilo SE, Kabel BW and SportFive.

IT outsourcing still very much in demand

WILO SE, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of pumps and pump systems, is a high-profile new customer. TDS will perform remote maintenance of Wilo’s SAP systems, safeguarding these mission-critical applications.  Another new client is the cable network operator Kabel BW, which has tasked TDS with the management of its enterprise applications.

Escada will continue to benefit from TDS’ IT outsourcing expertise, by extending its contract for another five years.  TDS ensures the reliability of the fashion icon’s centralised and decentralised server systems, including a disaster recovery solution, and maintains the high availability of IT infrastructure services.  In addition, TDS will manage LAN and WAN connections. The agreement also covers the operation of SAP systems, virtualisation of applications and storage on demand.

Other companies to renew their IT outsourcing arrangements with TDS are RAPS, Tank & Rast and FHF Funke + Huster Fernsig.

The SAP experts for mid-sized businesses

In addition, TDS will employ its extensive SAP consulting skills on the following projects: SAP migration for Wala Heilmittel, planning and implementation of SAP document archiving for TeamBank und the introduction of SAP ERP HCM for Deutsche Pfandbriefbank.

Making life easier for HR professionals

TDS is the market leader for HR outsourcing in Germany, with more than 750,000 payroll transactions every month. To ensure efficient payroll accounting, Steigenberger Hotels has recently chosen TDS. For Lantiq, a leading provider of innovative semiconductor solutions for broadband communications, TDS will administer payroll and travel expenses in Germany and Austria. The sports rights marketing company SportFive has also tasked TDS with payroll accounting and travel-expense management, and is planning to implement a SAP ERP HCM system.
