The PRIMERGY BX600 Blade Server offers high performance, a cooling concept and the I/O infrastructure that is required to
support the modular server blades, network connections and storage components - not only today but in the coming years. The
PRIMERGY BX600 chassis is a scalable 19-inch rack system with
7 height units and can be equipped with up to ten server blades. Both energy-efficient and high-performance Dual- and Quad-core
processors from Intel® and AMD can be used in the server blades. The great range of usable processor configurations
enables the PRIMERGY BX600 Blade Server to meet a large number of requirements that are typical for data center applications.
The 10 Gbit/s Ethernet switch blades and appropriate daughter cards in the server blades enable maximum communication performance.
Ethernet and Fibre Channel networks can be accessed via four module options at the rear of the chassis and switches from Brocade,
Cisco and Emulex. The Storage Blade SX650 can easily extend the local storage capacity of a server blade. The NAS solution
NX650 is used to provide jointly usable disk capacity on a chassis and data center basis.
