Fujitsu today announces the global availability of its new-generation TeamPoS® 7000 Point of Sale All-in-One (AIO) terminals, offering retailers a sleek and ultramodern solution for providing multiple in-store touch points even in the most fashionable and sophisticated environments.
Eco-sensitive and retail-hardened, the highly-adaptable TeamPoS 7000 AIO terminal can be configured for a variety of retail scenarios, including countertop, column and pole, making it ideal for deployment in the widest spectrum of markets, including supermarkets, convenience and specialty stores, quick- and table-service restaurants, and hotels. The TeamPoS 7000 combines flexibility, high reliability, simple maintenance and low energy consumption to deliver total cost of ownership (TCO) that is among the lowest in the retail industry.
Maurizio Tomasso, Head of Retail at Fujitsu Technology Solutions says: “In a fast-changing and highly competitive industry, retailers fight to provide an ever-improving customer experience, while also growing their productivity. The new Fujitsu TeamPoS 7000, with its modern and innovative design, CRM and multimedia capabilities, is a new, eco-friendly terminal that enables retailers to enhance customer experiences at the point of sale.”
The Fujitsu TeamPoS 7000 AIO terminal incorporates Intel’s integrated chipsets (CPU, GPU and memory) ICH-8M and Q67 and second-generation Core processors i5, i3, Pentium, and Atom D525, enabling operating systems and application software to run at optimum speeds. The new terminal also has an integrated Intel IPV6 network protocol chip that in conjunction with remote management software enhances overall network security and protects valuable customer data. The retail-hardened terminal uses water- and dust-proof (IP53) LCD touch screen technology. The TeamPoS 7000 AIO terminal has been certified for Windows Embedded POSReady 7.
