Network Management Systems

Fujitsu is a leader in Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) technology. Flexr NM

FLEXR-NM is a network layer manager for SDH and WDM transport networks. It uses open standards-based interfaces to allow the user to create a logical network view using logical network elements (LNEs) or subnetwork generated by the element layer.

The user provides links between LNEs to create the total network topology view. With the resulting logical network the user can readily support end-to-end path management, as well as capacity and network performance monitoring functions.

FLEXR-NM allows centralized operation of both element and network management functions.

Flexr EM

Supporting Fujitsu's transport network elements, FLEXR-EM is a new generation of element management software product that provides alarm surveillance, network element configuration, network topologies and path management across FLX, FLASH, FRX and FLASHWAVE networks.

FLEXR-EM may be operated from either a PC graphical user interface, a web browser, or through a standard computer-to-computer interface.

FLEXR-EM supports standard interfaces to Fujitsu network elements (NEs) and open interfaces, including Q3, to both FLEXR-NM and other upper management systems.
