Fujitsu in India

Fujitsu entered India in 1982 by setting up its Liaison Office in New Delhi. A year later Fujitsu started supplying Fetex 100L – the Analog Switch (PSTN), to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT, now Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited or BSNL).

Ever since then, Fujitsu supplied its state-of-the-art Telecom Equipment comprising of Digital Switches, SDH based Fiber Optic Terminals and Digital Microwave Equipment to Public Carriers viz. the BSNL (erstwhile DoT), Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL), Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited (VSNL), Power Sector (PGCIL) and other Private Operators in Basic & Cellular Fields, under various orders, thereby contributing significantly in building the vital National Telecom Infrastructure.

Today Fujitsu’s name in India is synonymous with top-quality equipment backed by efficient and reliable service.
