Some of the key findings included:
- Desktop Managed Service alone may be absorbing up to 90% of your IT budget
- IT staff of mid-sized companies typically spend almost half their time on desktop management
- Product investment is the number one priority for mid-sized companies should they have extra IT budget
- Almost half of respondents weren’t satisfied with the level of desktop management they receive
- In-house desktop management is still prevalent as respondents feel outsourcing is too expensive and they will lose visibility and control of the desktop management
