Meet some of the team in Ireland

Fujitsu consults, designs, builds and operates innovative IT solutions and services, helping customers in Ireland realise the benefits of the connected economy.Here are some of the people that help make this a reality.

Regina Moran

Regina Moran, CEO, Fujitsu

Regina Moran became CEO of Fujitsu in Ireland in September 2006.

Regina Moran has over 20 years experience in the IT industry beginning as an engineer in Amdahl Ireland. From there she moved into DMR Consulting, which became Fujitsu Consulting and which merged with Fujitsu Services in April 2004. Prior to the merger Regina was Head of Operations in Fujitsu Consulting and since the merger has also been responsible for Operations in the merged entity. In addition to her engineering qualifications Regina earned a First Class Honours MBA from DCU in 2000.

Laurence O'Byrne

Laurence O'Byrne, Sales Director, Fujitsu

Laurence O’Byrne became Sales Director with Fujitsu in April 2006.

Laurence has 30 years experience in the IT industry and began his career as an engineer with IBM in 1978. From here he moved to DMR Consulting in 1999 where he worked as a Government account manager. DMR Consulting then merged with Fujitsu Consulting and finally merged with Fujitsu Services in April 2004.

Ray Browne

Ray Browne, Financial Director, Fujitsu

Ray Browne has almost 20 years experience in the IT industry and he began his career with ICL in June 1997 where he worked as a reporting accountant. ICL then became Fujitsu Services who finally merged with Fujitsu consulting in April 2004 to bring us the Fujitsu we have today. Ray is now the Financial Director with Fujitsu taking up the post in April 2002.

Studying in London Ray qualified as an accountant in 1990 and has this year just finished his MBA from DCU.

Cathleen Doohan

Cathleen Doohan, HR Manager, Fujitsu

Cathleen Doohan is the head of human resources at Fujitsu in Ireland. Cathleen joined the company in 2008 and worked previously with companies such as Logica, Bayer, Verizon and, most recently, EDS.

Cathleen graduated from DCU where she specalised in HR in her business degree.

Commenting on her appointment, Cathleen Doohan said that the legislation and corporate obligations surrounding the transfer of employment rights is an area in which she has a great interest; “Outsourcing non-core activities, especially in the ICT area, has become much more common place in Ireland as organisations seek to focus on their core business. Fujitsu has an excellent track record in this area and is really focused on delivering the maximum opportunity for those that join the company in this way. For many transferring employment with niche IT skills, Fujitsu can provide career development.

Catherine Casey

Catherine Casey, Marketing & Communications, Fujitsu

Catherine Casey is the Marketing Manager with Fujitsu. Catherine joined Fujitsu in 2004 as a Marketing Executive after working in high performing companies like IBM and eWare.

Catherine has a BSc (Mgmt) with Marketing from Trinity college Dublin. And a MSc in Multimedia from DCU.

Veronica Curtin

Veronica Curtin, Head of Business Consulting, Fujitsu

Veronica Curtin is the Head of Business Consulting with Fujitsu in Ireland. Veronica joined Fujitsu in 2001 as a principal business consultant and has a proven track record dealing with large international projects spanning many different verticals. Previously Veronica worked with a start-up software company doing global implementations including Germany & Australia. Veronica specializes in business engagement with IT and has 13 years experience in the industry.

Veronica graduated from DCU in 1995 with a BSc(Hons) in Computer Applications. Veronica is also Prince 2 certified and is currently vice president of the Irish Management Consultant Association.
