If external disks are connected by CNA(Converged Network Adapter), the memory dump file creation in the blue screen remains at zero percent, so you cannot complete the processing of the memory dump file creation.

This phenomenon can be avoided by downloading the Windows driver kit (v11.1.172.19 and later) for this CNA from the web and applying it.

PRIMEQUEST 2800E / 2800E2/ 2800E3 / 2800B / 2800B2 /2800B3 (Server) Due to the combination of value to [ACPI MSCT] and hardware partition with SB configuration, bule screen(0x7e) may be dsiplayed. This can be avoided by applying patch : "KB3032331". Please visit the Microsoft web site for detail information.

The combination of [CPU Configuration]-[ACPI MSCT] in UEFI menu and partition with SB configuration is as below.

  • Hardware partition with SB configuration of [ACPI MSCT] is "Enabled"

PRIMEQUEST (Server) Event Log may record the following error in a high-workload.

Log name: System
Source:IPMIDRV
Event ID:1004
Description: The IPMI device driver attempted to communicate with the IPMI BMC device during normal operation.
However the communication failed due to a timeout. You can increase the timeouts associated with the IPMI device driver.

This can be avoided by increasing the timeouts and applying patch:
"KB3140219".

  • How to increase the timeouts
Add entry to following registry subkey.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\IPMI

PRIMEQUEST (Server) Windows RE(Windows Recovery Environment) may start when the problem occurs at a system boot for Windows.
After Windows RE menu is displayed, click [Continue] restart the system.
If you don't want to start Windows RE you can prevent start of Windows RE by REAgentC.exe /disable command.

Description:The Open Procedure for service ""BITS"" in DLL ""C:\Windows\System32\bitsperf.dll"" failed. Performance data for this service will not be available. The first four bytes (DWORD) of the Data section contains the error code.

This problem occurs when BITS (Background Intelligent Transfer Service) has been never started.
The error is not recorded if BITS starts by manual operation or Windows Update starts.
