Fujitsu Appoints Michimasa Mochizuki as Corporate Vice President and Head of Asia Pacific Operations
Jakarta, September 25, 2007 — Leading IT and communications solutions provider Fujitsu Indonesia today announced the appointment, by Fujitsu Limited, of Michimasa Mochizuki as Corporate Vice President and Head of Asia Pacific Operations with effect from August 21, 2007.
In this role, the 55-year-old Japanese national has overall responsibility for driving business growth and profitability in 11 countries across the Asia Pacific (excluding Japan and China) region. He is also tasked with providing strategic direction to Regional Group CEOs across the said region.
Based at Fujitsu’s global headquarters in Tokyo, Japan, Mochizuki reports to Mr Hiroaki Kurokawa, President of Fujitsu Limited, also based at the headquarters.

He is highly respected within Fujitsu and possesses vast experience in overseeing various business operations across several markets throughout his career with the company. Mochizuki began his career at Fujitsu in 1975, and rose gradually through the ranks over his entire 32-year career with the company. Senior appointments that he has held in the past include:
- General Manager, Americas & Europe Division, Global Business Development Group (June 2003 to April 2005)
- Senior Vice President, Global Business Management Unit (April 2005 to November 2006)
- Board Member, Fujitsu Telecommunications Europe Ltd (November 2006 to July 2007)
- Vice Head of Asia Pacific Operations, Fujitsu Ltd (July 2007 to August 2007)
Mochizuki graduated with a Bachelor in Electronics Engineering from Kyoto University in Japan in 1975.
