Fujitsu, the leading provider of ICT-based business solutions, today opensthe registration of its annual scholarship program, offering the greater opportunity for Indonesian business professionals to participate in selection process for Fujitsu-JAIMS Foundation's Fall 2014: Global Leaders for Innovation and Knowledge. The select participants will spend their 3.5 months to join an extension program focuses on management studies for experienced professionals.

Achmad added that Fujitsu-JAIMS Scholarship sits as the right place for the Indonesian future leaders, who has high capacity in decision making and policies. Upon completion, the awarded candidates are expected to have comprehensive insights and knowledge, master the management theory, and liberal arts, including humanism, psychology, philosophy and methodology.
Fujitsu-JAIMS Scholarship is open for all Indonesian citizens with undergraduate degree and minimum of 3 years of working experience (candidates with 5 years working experience are more preferable). Candidates also require to have minimum TOEIC score of 750. The registration will be closed in September 1, 2014.
Participants who are eligible for Fujitsu-JAIMS Scholarship, will be provided with airfares, tuition fees and accommodation during the whole program. The program will be held in four countries, including Japan, United States (Hawaii), Thailand and Singapore.
The select participants will also join in a short course about management and innovation. They will also get the chance to observe Fujitsu’s success story in management through scheduled field works and site visits for future synthesis and application in the real world.
To enhance the quality of the program, Fujitsu-JAIMS Scholarship will also offer series of program that contain mainly about knowledge-creation process and proper leadership techniques from both theoretical and applied perspectives.
Through Fujitsu-JAIMS Scholarship, Fujitsu offers a great opportunity for the participants to build a vast network together, while learning to adapt to culture and values with excellent participants from many countries, primarily from East and Southeast Asia.
In Indonesia, Fujitsu-JAIMS Scholarship program has been running since 1986. Up to March 2014, a total of 56 people attended the Scholarship program. Fujitsu-JAIMS Scholarship is a unique and valuable opportunity to develop leadership of Indonesian business practitioners offered in 1985 for the first time to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the corporation.
JAIMS was originally founded by Fujitsu in 1972 in the Honolulu suburb of Hawaii Kai. In light of recent development of business activities in Asia, Fujitsu have established Fujitsu-JAIMS Foundation in July 2012, and headquarter function was moved to Fujitsu-JAIMS Foundation in April 2013 for the delivery of the new program. The Fujitsu Scholarship has since been offered to 458 professionals from 18 countries across the Asia-Pacific region.
