The quality of outsourcing services depends heavily on the reliability of the provider’s data centres. Now prospective customers can take a guided or interactive tour of the TDS data centres online at and see for themselves what TDS delivers. Participants can learn all about the facilities’ security features and the flexibility, efficiency and availability that they offer. During the tour, they can explore points that will fill them in on issues such as building security and physical access control, data security, power supply, server and network rooms, air-conditioning and fire protection.
Infrastructures with full redundancy
In its data centres in Neckarsulm and Neuenstadt/Kocher, TDS operates its customers’ IT systems on about 4,000 servers and stores customers’ mission-critical data in a secure environment. Reliable and uninterrupted operation can be attributed to fully redundant infrastructures and inter-site replication, where required. Another important aspect of TDS’s data centres is that they deliver the greatest possible energy efficiency: power-saving IT systems and a sophisticated cooling and air-conditioning system slash energy consumption.
