The European Parliament Directive 2002/95/EC, the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS), is legislation to prohibit the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment in Europe. It has been enforced throughout the European Community on July 1, 2006. RoHS restricts the following hazardous substances:
The Fujitsu Group committed full compliance to the European Parliament Directive 2002/95/EC, the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS), across its entire mobile product line by July 1, 2006
All Fujitsu products shipping directly into China which are manufactured on or after March 1st, 2007, will be China RoHS compliant.
All Fujitsu products shipping directly into Vietnam which are designed and manufactured in accordance with Vietnam's Circular 30/2011/TT-BCT restrictions on hazardous substances and the maximum concentration of toxins allowed in homogenous materials in electric and electronic products”, otherwise known as Vietnam RoHS which came into effect on December 1, 2012.
