Hong Kong, July 25, 2005 — Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific today launched the LifeBook N6210. This high performance notebook incorporates a 17-inch SuperFine Wide display for crisp and clear images and high-end entertainment features for instant enjoyment of music, movies and other digital media. Business and home users can experience longer battery life and greater processing power with the next-generation Intel® Centrino™ platform.

The LifeBook N6210 boasts a 17-inch SuperFine WXGA+ 16:9 screen at 1440 x 900 pixels providing superior clarity for rich multimedia playback and movie viewing – perfect for demanding business presentations, or enjoying the latest DVD movies. Its screen contrast ratio of 500:1 greatly surpasses the normal screen ratio of 200:1 to 250:1.

The LifeBook N6210 is equipped with the Intel® Pentium® M Processor 750 with the latest Intel® 915PM chipset for superior mobile performance. An integrated Dual Layer DVD Super Multi Drive allows users to read or write all common DVD formats on-the-go, while acting as a high capacity storage solution capable of supporting up to 8.5GB of data. The N6210 also features a programmable Media Playback panel for convenient access to frequently-launched applications, while Dual Channel DDR2 memory architecture provides up to 8.5GB/sec peak memory bandwidth catering to the needs of today’s intensive applications and graphics-rich games.

The increasing popularity of digital entertainment prompted Fujitsu to include the ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON® X600 Graphic Controller with 128MB of VRAM and featuring high definition 3D audio plus subwoofers.

The LifeBook N6210 features an impressive array of connectivity options including four conveniently placed USB 2.0 ports, an IEEE 1394 port, an S-Video port, an SPDIF digital audio out socket, modem access and network connections, as well as a combination of Secure Digital (SD), Memory Stick and Memory Stick® PRO/XD slot that allows data to be easily transferred to and from other devices such as PDA and digital cameras. A Type II PCMCIA slot is also included, along with ExpressCard™ capability, offering higher bandwidth than traditional PCMCIA cards. Wireless connectivity is also fully supported with the inclusion of the Intel® PRO/Wireless 2915ABG network connection.
