Hong Kong, May 26, 2003 — The LifeBook S6120, using the latest Intel® Centrino™ Mobile Technology, offers new opportunities for the mobile executive. LifeBook S6120 has been designed to provide the perfect mix of style and computing performance. The portable notebook features an integrated Bluetooth™ module enabling connection to any Bluetooth™ enabled mobile phone or PDA for total mobile connectivity.
The security of the LifeBook S6120 has been enhanced with Fujitsu's Security Panel. The Panel has four buttons that launch applications with one easy touch. To protect the notebook from unauthorized access, the buttons can be used for pre-boot password combination log-in. Once set, the notebook will boot-up only when the correct combination is entered.
There are 800,000 possible combinations with supervisor and user password levels allowing an IT manager to set a single supervisor password and unique user passwords for each employee for better manageability.

Mr Alex Leung, COO, Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific said: "Our customers want us to provide them with technology that seamlessly blends in with their lifestyles. The LifeBook S6120 heralds an end to the nine-to-five deskbound executives. We believe that successful business people of the future will be able to do business wherever and whenever they choose."
"In today's fast paced business world, time is money. Using the powerful LifeBook S6120, a sales meeting at a Wi-Fi hotspot can have instantaneous access to stock availability and shipping times. With the decision made, the customer can see their order confirmed real time."
"Whether it is holding a sales meeting in a Wi-Fi cafe, downloading the latest movie trailer or just sending an email to a friend, the LifeBook S6120 can extend, rather than limit, your lifestyle," Mr Leung said.
User comfort is maximised with a full sized keyboard and 13.3" display. An optical drive adds flexibility to a notebook with a range of features usually only found in larger form factors.
Fann Wong, Hollywood star of hit movie Shanghai Knights, said that her hectic lifestyle needed a truly mobile solution. "Fujitsu's LifeBook S6120 helps me keep in touch with family, friends and fans and the world's changing events. Having a wireless notebook means I'm able to send a quick email in between shoots. I might even take a peek at the Oscar fashions wrap up."
