Key Senior Executive Appointments Set To Consolidate Fujitsu Hong Kong's Industry Leadership
Yau Kan Named President; Seasoned IT Veteran Ringo Cheung Returns as General Manager, Services
Hong Kong, November 7, 2007 — Fujitsu Hong Kong Limited today announced two senior executive appointments which will further consolidate its position as one of the leading firms providing innovative, customer-focused information technology and telecommunications solutions and services.
Mr Yau Kan, previously Senior Vice President of Fujitsu Hong Kong Limited, has been appointed President of the company. Mr Kan has been working with Fujitsu's group of companies for over 30 years, and began his career at ICL in London, one of Fujitsu's subsidiaries in Europe. He has also worked in Fujitsu offices in Europe as well as Asia, including Hong Kong, Australia and Singapore; Mr Kan played a critical role in the growth of the company's management, marketing and sales efforts.
In addition, the company has also announced that Mr Ringo Cheung, a seasoned IT veteran with over 20 years experience in the industry and in IT-related services, has returned to Fujitsu Hong Kong as General Manager, Services, Information Systems and Services Division. Mr Cheung will be responsible for overseeing Fujitsu’s IT services division, and to consolidate its position as one of the fastest growing IT firms in Hong Kong.
