Fujitsu's New Generation PRIMERGY Server Breaks Energy Efficiency World Record

Munich, May 14, 2012 – Fujitsu today announces that the latest generation of Fujitsu PRIMERGY mono and dual-socket servers have debuted as leaders in energy efficiency. New results from the independent Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation (SPEC) confirm the Fujitsu PRIMERGY TX120 S3p mono-socket server as the world record holder in energy efficiency for servers, achieving 6,109 overall ssj_ops/watt with the SPECpower_ssj2008 benchmark.¹ The Fujitsu PRIMERGY BX920 S3 dual-socket server blade and Fujitsu PRIMERGY RX100 S7p rack server were also recognized for excellence in energy efficiency, and awarded ’best in its class’.²

Fujitsu Opens First Data Centre in China

Guangdong, Nanhai, April 11, 2012 – Fujitsu today announced the launch of its first data centre in China, the Fujitsu South China Data Centre. Located in the Guangdong High-Tech Service Zone for Financial Institutions, it is South China's first Tier 3 plus data centre. Intelligent Fujitsu Document Imaging Solutions Successfully Complete China Nationwide Census Project

The National Bureau of Statistics of China Chooses Fujitsu Group Scanners and OCR Software for China's 6th National Census
