Fujitsu provides future-proof server platform In June 2004, Fujitsu announced the expansion of its 20-year alliance with Sun Microsystems that promises the development and delivery of a new generation of data center-class systems, based on the highly sophisticated SPARC/Solaris platform. The extended partnership will lead to the birth of the industry's most complete data center systems family, code named Advanced Product Line (APL), in 2006.
