Fujitsu offers Comprehensive Cloud Services with Vision for a Human Centric Intelligent Society

Fujitsu Hong Kong Limited

Hong Kong, June 24, 2014

Fujitsu today announced its plan to help create a more intelligent society, a better place to live and conduct business, by offering one of the industry's broadest cloud portfolio comprising an integrated IT infrastructure, global network, security and a wide choice of options for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS – all brought together through cloud integration.

In 2013, around 10 billion devices were connected to the Internet, and is expected reach 50 billion or more by 2020 . Massive amounts of information and data is generated as a result, recreating new knowledge and huge potential for economic growth. In response to an increasingly hyperconnected world, Fujitsu is strengthening its cloud portfolio as a platform to connect the world – people, information and things – and achieve its goal to build a Human Centric Intelligent Society.

Fujitsu seeks to realize its cloud integrated future in Hong Kong through its end-to-end cloud portfolio that acts as a one-stop-shop for customers' cloud on-board process. From the initial evaluation, planning to implementation, execution and maintenance, Fujitsu strives to meet all its customers' business needs with world class hardware and software coupled with robust services. Fujitsu's customers in Hong Kong are also supported by an extensive global network of 100 data centers across the world, enabling customers in Hong Kong to benefit from the two-facilities in Tsuen Wan and in South China.

Fujitsu will continue to deepen its penetration in key industry verticals in Hong Kong, including retail, telecommunications and FSI sectors, with industry-relevant solutions and services. The ICT leader will also seek to widen its footprint in the public sector.

Mr. Derek Yiu, General Manger, Solutions and Services Business, Fujitsu Hong Kong Limited, said, "Our strategic intent for a Human Centric Intelligent Society is focused on bringing innovative cloud solutions for our customers to help meet their digital challenges of today's evolving marketplace. Supported with world's leading ICT platform products, our vast global presence, unrivalled local support, and delivery capabilities allow us to provide services, operational models, processes, communication and governance to our Hong Kong customers. Fujitsu continues to drive growth by introducing global best practices for MNCs and organisations to consolidate their infrastructure and services into a regional IT hub in Hong Kong."

Fujitsu's diverse cloud portfolio has been designed to meet the full spectrum of needs from customers to ensure their migration to cloud technology is met with ease and empowerment. Fujitsu achieves this from its core product line including Infrastructure-As-A-Service (IaaS), Software-As-A-Service (SaaS), Platform-As-A-Service (PaaS) and Business Process-As-A-Service (BPaaS).

"In the past 12 months, we have successfully helped multiple companies in Hong Kong like ThyssenKrupp Elevator, Watami, Pacific Coffee Company and others to improve their IT efficiency and business agility with tailor made solutions. We will continue to be the leading partner to our customers by increasing our workforce, in order to combine our consulting expertise and managed services to deliver a seamless service," said Mr. Yiu.
