New Mac Software for ScanSnap SV600

Fujitsu, the leading ICT solutions and services provider, today announced that the Mac software for the award-winning document scanner, ScanSnap SV600, is available for download1 today.
ScanSnap SV600 Compatible with Windows® / Mac OS
ScanSnap SV600, which was released in September 2013, has received high acclaim as an innovative document scanner that offers a new perspective on scanning.
As announced in the release, four Mac softwares are now available for download for SV600 users today. All four softwares, including the driver software “ScanSnap Manager”, supporting the latest Mac OS X10.9, allow users to rest assure to use the scanner.

1. ScanSnap Manager – Make scanning with SV600 possible (for Mac OS)
The driver software, ScanSnap Manager, enables SV600 to scan in Mac OS environment. The driver includes "Book Image Correction" function to correct the distortion caused by the curve of an opened book. Together with the "Page Turning Detection" function, various media can be digitized easily.
2. ScanSnap Organizer – Manage scanned data (for Mac OS)
With great demand from Mac users, the ScanSnap Organizer (Mac version) is renewed. The ScanSnap Organizer for SV600 not only can manage all scans, but can also allow users to confirm or adjust the corrected scanned book images.
3. CardMinder – Organize scanned business cards (for Mac OS)
Users can use CardMinder to capture, manage and utilize the scanned business cards. The SV600 original function, "Multiple Document Detection", allows users to automatically scan and crop several business cards into one scan, thus improve work efficiency.
4. ABBYY FineReader for ScanSnap™ – Transform image data into Word and other format (for Mac OS)
Using the OCR technology incorporated in ABBYY FineReader for ScanSnap™, users can transform image data into editable Word, Excel® and PowerPoint® files for further applications in the office.

The software can be downloaded from the ScanSnap Support Site. Follow the instructions on the "Software Downloads" web page to download the setup file.
(The software is for SV600 user only. It is necessary to input the user registration number and product serial number of SV600. )
