Data Centre Operator (1-year renewable contract)

Job Title:		Data Centre Operator
The Job:		To perform server activities (such as rack mount new servers, decommission & dispose old servers, vendor escorting, asset tagging, tracking & asset auditing, etc.) To perform hardware swap in accordance with the bank's instructions To assist the bank staff with troubleshooting of servers, network or other equipment's installed in Bank's Data Centre and technical rooms To perform Data Centre operations (such as inventory management, maintain records and rack elevation diagrams, store room management, inspection and unpacking of delivered equipment based on security procedures, etc.) To perform tape operations (such as update and maintain tape inventory, tape delivery arrangement, tape media insertion, etc.) Willing to perform shift duties
The Requirements:		Certification or above in Electrical & Mechanical, Information Technology or related disciplines At least 3 years' relevant experience in Data Centre environment, experience in SmartHands support is a MUST Experience engineering system troubleshooting is a MUST Work after office hours and holidays are required Good interpersonal and communication skills Able to work independently and under pressure Good communication in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
