Fujitsu takes to the road again during Spring/Summer 2014 with its popular roadshow. Under the banner ‘Reshaping ICT- Reshaping Business and Society’, the Fujitsu World Tour is the successor of the company’s well known IT Future events, which attracted more than 8,000 attendees in 2013.
What the World Economic Forum calls a ‘hyperconnected world’ brings great change, the opportunity of intense collaboration, but also business risk and uncertainty. Fujitsu World Tour is designed as a forum to discuss the challenges facing businesses everywhere and provide inspiration as well as practical solutions to benefit from the new emerging opportunities following Fujitsu’s vision of a ‘Human Centric Intelligent Society.’
Fujitsu World Tour 2014 will showcase the latest trends in data center technology, mobility, cloud, big data, and social media in conjunction with the new value chain of end-to-end services, solutions and products. Together with the main sponsor Intel and the participating partners – Brocade, Cisco, Citrix, Microsoft, NetApp, Oracle, SAP, SEP, SUSE and Symantec – Fujitsu will demonstrate its portfolio highlights.
On display are the FUJITSU Tablet STYLISTIC Q704, the FUJITSU LIFEBOOK U904 with integrated palm vein scanner as well as the new record-breaking FUJITSU ETERNUS storage systems. On the server side, the newly launched FUJITSU PRIMEQUEST 2000 family with its innovative mission-critical functionality will be showcased alongside the latest FUJITSU PRIMERGY server models. The company will demonstrate how organizations can reduce the complexities involved in operating technology – saving energy and effort on the way, enabling true innovation across the entire enterprise.
Throughout the Fujitsu World Tour 2014, Fujitsu and its partners will share insights into how customers can reshape the role of ICT within their business and societies. For example, ‘Big data and High Performance Computing’ shows how in a dynamic business world strategic and operative decisions must be made with confidence and without delay. ICT supports instant availability of business data and analyses at the point of decision – regardless of the amount of data involved. In comparison, ‘Smart IT sourcing’ advises on how a wide range of delivery models (such as cloud services and managed services) plus the right mix of internal and external resources can enable a more effective focus on companies’ core business.
For the keynotes, selected speakers from Fujitsu’s executive management will be present as well as other industry experts who will give updates on the latest IT trends.
“The Fujitsu World Tour 2014 brings ICT innovations and solutions to businesses of all sizes around the world – so they can reduce technological complexity and derive business value from all the latest advances. The Tour showcases the latest mobile devices and data center systems, solutions and services. We use keynotes, break-out sessions, expert talks and an extensive exhibition to demonstrate to and discuss with businesses, how they can adopt and manage technology in more efficient and innovative ways to achieve their goals.”
