Fujitsu Middleware Support Lifecycle
In an effort to continuously enhance and improve Fujitsu's product offering, Fujitsu may provide additional versions of its products in the form of version upgrades. As part of Fujitsu's product lifecycle, it may become necessary to remove support for some of its products and so Fujitsu reserves the right to terminate support for such products.
Scope of this document
This document is intended to be referred to in conjunction with Fujitsu's middleware products provided on 'open platforms' in the global market.
Details of Support Duration
Support Duration
The duration for which product support is provided is determined by each product version or major release. Unless additional
support has been agreed upon, this duration will normally terminate either at the end of March or at the end of September
after five years have elapsed since the corresponding product shipment was terminated. In any case, Fujitsu will provide support
for seven years either until the end of March or the end of September after the corresponding product started shipment from
Fujitsu. NOTE: Fujitsu will provide support for at least seven years even if the sales duration was less than two years.
Reduced Support Duration
Fujitsu will also terminate product support upon termination of support for other pre-requisites of the environment such as
the operating system, hardware or other products required by the relevant software.
Extended Support Duration
Upon agreement, Extended Support may be available for certain Fujitsu products after support for a version has been terminated.
Fujitsu Support Program
To receive support as offered by Fujitsu, all software products must be properly licensed and the corresponding annual maintenance products must be purchased and renewed without interruption.
